Two ways in from Camarillo
The shorter route is Lewis Road and Somis Road (CA 34) north to Highway 118 in Somis, then east on the 118 through Moorpark and Simi Valley to De Soto Avenue. That runs about 31 miles. You can also take the Ventura Freeway (US 101) east and cut north on De Soto, which can be faster when the 118 is backed up.

Camarillo's mix of customers
CSU Channel Islands
CSU Channel Islands opened in 2002 on the grounds of the old Camarillo State Hospital, just south of town. Its teams are the Dolphins, with red and silver as school colors. Athletics run through club teams like lacrosse, baseball, cycling, sailing, and volleyball, plus intramurals. Club sports are a perfect DTF use case: small rosters, tight budgets, and new designs every year.
A tip for red and silver: standard DTF has no true metallic, so silver prints as gray. If you want real shine, ask about gold foil through our contact form, or design with a clean light gray that reads as silver on red.
Tech and manufacturing companies
Camarillo has a strong business park scene. Semtech is based here, and Meissner Filtration Products is one of the city's largest employers. Companies like these order uniforms, trade show shirts, and onboarding swag. Our page on work uniforms by industry covers which blanks hold up on the job.
Local sellers
Camarillo Premium Outlets has about 160 stores on Ventura Boulevard. Local sellers competing with that kind of selection lean on short runs and fresh designs. DTF lets you test a new graphic on 12 shirts before committing.
Planning for the Christmas Parade
The Camarillo Christmas Parade has run since 1962, usually on the first or second weekend in December. Float crews, school bands, and scout troops all march, and a lot of them want matching shirts. Order standard DTF at least a week ahead so you have time to press and fix any size mix-ups. Glitter or gold foil for a holiday look takes 3 to 5 business days and prints on its own sheet. See specialty DTF transfers.

Business park order tips
Company orders tend to fail on details, not printing. Get the logo file from whoever owns the brand, not a screenshot from the website. Ask for a vector or a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background. Decide on placement once, write it down, and use it for every reorder so new hires match the old crew. If the order mixes tees and fleece, press a test on each fabric first, since heavier blanks can need a little extra attention to pressure.
For Camarillo print shops
Embroidery and screen print shops add DTF to cover jobs they would otherwise turn down, like full color art on 10 shirts. Our wholesale program gives approved shops volume pricing, pre-cut transfers, and priority production. Apply and we'll email pricing. Shops in Oxnard and Moorpark can use it the same way.
