DTF printing near Northridge
If you're searching "DTF printing near me" from Northridge, the closest printer may be the next neighborhood over. Northridge sits right next door to Chatsworth, and our shop at 9736 Variel Ave is a short drive west. No freeway required.
We print every transfer in-house, so the sheet you pick up is the sheet that came off our printer. For the bigger picture on what we make and how we work, see our page on DTF transfers in Los Angeles.
Why Northridge goes through so many shirts
Northridge is a college town inside the city. Cal State Northridge lists more than 250 clubs and organizations and more than 50 fraternities and sororities. Every one of them needs shirts at some point: recruitment, philanthropy events, intramurals, retreats, graduation.
Student orders have a pattern. The quantities are small, the deadlines are close, and the budget is tight. DTF fits that well. You don't pay screens or setup, and one sheet can hold a dozen different designs.
Common orders from a college neighborhood
These are the kinds of jobs that tend to come out of an area like Northridge. They're examples of what DTF handles well, not a client list.
- Chapter and recruitment shirts. A front crest and a big back print on one gang sheet.
- Club and org merch. Short runs of 10 or 20 shirts, sometimes in several colors of blank.
- Event shirts. Philanthropy weeks, tournaments, and fundraisers where every year's design is new.
- First brand drops. Students testing a clothing idea before committing to big runs. Our guide to starting a clothing brand with DTF covers that path.
How pickup works
- Build your order online. Lay out a gang sheet or upload by size. It's one builder at the same link.
- Call before you drive over. Ring (818) 527-8264 to confirm your order is ready.
- Come by the shop. 9736 Variel Ave, Chatsworth, Mon to Fri, 10AM to 5PM.
- Press it. 300°F, 10 seconds, high pressure, peel hot. Full steps are in our DTF heat press settings.
Greek letters, glitter and puff
Letters and crests are where specialty finishes shine. We offer glitter, puff, glow in the dark and gold foil, plus UV DTF stickers for laptops, water bottles and paddles. These go through the contact form, take 3 to 5 business days, and can't share a gang sheet with standard DTF. Keep lines thick. See specialty DTF transfers for what each finish looks like.
Planning around an event date? Order specialty work early. Standard DTF is the faster lane.
