What are glitter DTF transfers?

A glitter DTF transfer is a DTF print with a sparkling glitter finish. It presses on with a heat press just like our standard transfers, so there's nothing new to learn on your press.

How to order glitter DTF transfers

  1. Send us your design through our contact form, along with the sizes and quantities you need.
  2. We'll confirm the details and let you know how your design will look in glitter.
  3. We print it in-house in Los Angeles. Glitter DTF orders take 3 to 5 business days.

Glitter DTF is its own order. It can't share a gang sheet with standard DTF designs. For standard transfers, use our gang sheet builder or order by size.

Best designs for glitter DTF

  • Names and numbers. Team names and jersey numbers pop with sparkle.
  • Bold lettering for mascots, slogans, and celebrations.
  • Simple icons and shapes with solid filled areas.
  • Keep lines thick. Very thin lines and tiny text can lose definition. Bold, thick lines give the best result.

What garments work with glitter DTF?

Glitter DTF presses onto cotton, polyester, blends, and fleece, on light or dark garments.

How to press glitter DTF transfers

Glitter DTF presses with the same settings as all of our transfers.

  1. Pre-press the garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Place the transfer and press at 300°F with high pressure for 10 seconds.
  3. Peel the film right away in one smooth, low-angle pull.
  4. Post-press for 5 seconds through parchment paper or a Teflon sheet.

Care instructions

  • Wait at least 24 hours after pressing before the first wash.
  • Turn the garment inside out.
  • Machine wash cold or warm with mild detergent. No bleach.
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry.
  • Never iron directly on the print.
